Wolf Head Award - Jade

Songs of the Dreamcatcher (Wolf Head), one of the Northern Dreams series of original artwork by First Nations artist Gordon Fiddler, depicts a feathered dreamcatcher within the profile of a howling wolf. The piece is aquashaped 3/8" jade glass on a beveled jade base. The hues of the multicolored feathers vary from piece to piece. A romance card is included, containing a short biography and the interpretation of the artwork as follows: "Lulled by the soulful cries of distant wolves, native children of the northlands were embraced by sleep, the dreamcatcher safeguarding the serenity of their dreams.". 6.0" W x 4.75" H
